Itto
The boisterous red oni leader who wields the Oni King's Kanabou and is allergic to soybeans.
Arataki Itto is a young oni from Inazuma and the leader of the fictional "Arataki Gang." Released as a playable character in version 2.3 in December 2021, he wields a massive spiked club known as the Oni King's Kanabou and possesses red oni horns on his forehead. His design draws inspiration from Japanese mythology's red oni, featuring red facial and body markings along with a sizable rope on his back inspired by kabuki theatre. Itto is frequently described by fellow Inazumans as a despicable, domineering hooligan with a strong competitive streak who loves gambling. He often invents arrogant nicknames for himself in the format "Arataki ___ Itto." Notably, he suffers from an allergy to soybeans and their derivatives, such as tofu, a trait rooted in the Setsubun tradition of driving away evil spirits.

Lore & Background
Arataki Itto serves as the only oni youth currently active in public life, establishing his position as a banchō for the Arataki Gang. His deputy is Kuki Shinobu, a former shrine maiden who helps him manage their affairs. During Inazuma's Vision Hunt Decree, Sara confiscated Itto's Vision on behalf of the Raiden Shogun; Itto issued multiple public declarations of revenge, all rejected by her, and continued to challenge her to duels even after the decree was abolished. In his story quest, "The Golden Soul," Itto discovers descendants of the Blue Oni clan committing robbery and kidnapping in Inazuma City. He publicly takes responsibility for their crimes while secretly investigating. After finding a descendant named Takuya, he follows him to a hideout, frees hostages, and persuades Takuya not to forget the pride of the oni or give up his life. Ultimately, both are arrested.
In Their Own Story
In the version 2.6 event quest "Hues of the Violet Garden," Itto initially shows little interest in volunteering for the Inazuma festival. However, upon learning that a limited-edition cocktail is for sale, he suddenly changes his tune and asks for details on how to obtain it. After finally winning the drink, he realizes it contains beans, triggering his severe allergy and leaving him doubled over with stomach pain. English voice actor Max Mittelman improvised this scene, bringing the comedic performance vividly to life according to Polygon's Ana Diaz. Earlier, in his main story quest, players learn through an Adventurers' Guild commission that Itto is a fugitive, requiring them to gather information about his whereabouts from locals to piece together his profile while introducing local folklore.
Reader's Guide
Arataki Itto is a five-star Geo character who wields a claymore. His Elemental Skill summons "Ushi," a small red bull and honorary member of the Arataki Gang, which he can throw at enemies. His Elemental Burst puts him into an empowered state known as "Raging Oni King" and transforms his weapon into the "Oni King's Kanabou." Itto possesses a high base critical hit rate, can taunt to draw enemy fire, and deals considerable damage while in his empowered state. Game Rant notes that his Burst shares similarities with Razor's playstyle: it disappears once he leaves the field, requiring players to activate all buffs beforehand. Yahoo News highlights that his normal attacks and skill build up stacks of bonuses without consuming stamina, making him less likely to be interrupted. Compared to other Geo characters, his playstyle is described as simpler and more straightforward.
